This Privacy Policy explains how Budly ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Budly iOS app.
Information We Collect
- Data you enter: Friend names, check-in cadences, hang logs, and any other details you input in the app.
- Contacts (optional): If you choose to import contacts, the app reads contact names only to pre-fill friend entries. This data is not transmitted to any server.
How Data Is Stored
- Your app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
- If you are signed into iCloud, the app uses Apple's CloudKit-backed storage to sync your data across your own Apple devices.
- We do not require account registration in Budly.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Budly schedules local reminder notifications on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
- Apple services: iCloud/CloudKit (sync) and App Store billing.
Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with any third parties outside of Apple's services used to operate the app.
Your Choices
- You can delete app data by removing content in the app or uninstalling the app from your device.
- You can manage iCloud sync settings in your Apple account settings.
Children's Privacy
Budly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date above.
